NEW DELHI, NOV 20: While an international airport still eludes Bangalore, Civil Aviation Minister Ananth Kumar has gifted his home city with three direct international flights, to be started shortly.

A Bangalore-Singapore-Los Angeles flight, under a code-sharing arrangement with Singapore Airlines, is on the anvil. The thrice-a-week service is likely to begin operations in the next 15 days.
