As an administrator, over the six years he was a Minister, he has brought fresh thought and leadership to several ministries, building their credibility, to a level not achieved in the previous 50 years. Whether it is Tourism, Civil Aviation or Urban Development, Ananth has left his mark on these ministries, which will make every Indian proud.
Driven by values, blessed by statesmen like Shri Vajpayee & Shri Advani, supported by an excellent team of party workers, well wishers & friends, Ananth represents the aspirations of developed India, aspirations shared by visionaries like Shri APJ Abdul Kalam, Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee & a hundred crore Indians.
AnanthKumar is known to be an organizer par excellence, coaxing people to align with the national vision, to make these aspirations come true for all of us. A fertile mix of a no-nonsense approach, infused with tons of humour makes him an endearing personality in the eyes of his well wishers & even his detractors.
A law graduate inspired by the clarion call of Shri Jayaprakash Narayan, Ananth plunged into constructive politics and social activism, at a very young age – nearly three decades ago. Yes, nearly three decades, when friends of his age, were still learning to be fledgling graduates.
